Software development has been an area of interest since the age of 12. I was hooked
after creating my own version of Space Invaders using Apple Basic. However, software
development was strictly a hobby and my initial career goal was to become a medical
doctor. As I progressed through my education, the lure of technology was too great
and far more interesting such that I eventually switched to Engineering, with a
minor in Electronics.
After being in the electronics industry for nearly 10 years, combined with the technology
improvements in both hardware and software, I decided to switch career gears into
software development - an interest that has remained a constant since my formative
years.
In the middle of my re-education (late 1990’s) into my new chosen career path, I
was presented an opportunity to become a developer for a dot com company and steadily
made my way through going from developer positions to eventually lead and management
responsibilities.
Mid 2005, I foucsed my efforts into formalizing my education with emphsis in systems
and database architecture and project management at
Neumont Univeristy in South Jordan, Utah. Graduating summa cum laude
in March of 2007, I moved back to southern California and currently working as a
Sr. .NET Developer.
